Acting for building owner (carrying out the work)
If you intend to carry out building work, we can offer you guidance on whether the Party Wall Act applies to your project and if so what process you will need to follow in order to fulfil your obligations to your neighbours.
We will:
- Prepare and submit the necessary notices to adjoining owners
- Record a schedule of condition of the walls/structure in question
- Obtain consents from the adjoining owner
- Prepare a party wall award and agree with adjoining surveyor
- Monitor work to ensure compliance with award
