Level 1 Report (Condition report)
The RICS Condition Report is intended for buying or selling a conventional residential property that is in a reasonable condition and is built using common materials and techniques.
The report provides you with a “snapshot” of the condition of the property on the date of inspection and highlights any urgent defects.
The report includes:
- Concise description of the condition of each element of the property
- Colour-coded condition ratings
- Summary of condition ratings and any defects
The report doesn’t include:
- A market valuation
- Reinstatement cost assessment (however this can be provided as a separate service)
- Diagnosis of defects, or any additional advice on repairs and maintenance
