Level 3 Report (Building survey)
Compared with the other reports a building survey gives far more detail. The building survey gives you advice on fixing defects with an overall indication of the potential costs involved.
The Building survey is a comprehensive inspection of the property and our surveyor
will list any defects, offer advice on potentially hazardous risks and give guidance on repairs and maintenance.
The report includes:
- Diagnosis of defects and detailed advice on repairs and maintenance
- Full description of the condition and construction of each element of the property
- A section on energy efficiency
- Colour-coded condition ratings
- Overall opinion and a summary of condition ratings, repairs and suggested further investigations
The report doesn’t include:
- Market valuation
- Reinstatement cost assessment (however this can be provided as a separate service)
