Costs

Negotiating payment certificate values to ensure you are not overpaying for work that hasn’t been completed and ensuring variations are value for money.

Progress

From procurement to completion we’ll provide an independent assessment of the programme of work. Highlighting the critical dates and the impact if not achieved.

Quality control

Checking the work adheres to your brief and specification, during and on completion of the project. Ensuring the work meets relevant construction standards and complies with working practices. Checking statutory approvals are in place and all relevant certification and documentation is provided.

The amount of monitoring required is dependent on the size and complexity of a scheme, but also the potential risks to you if issues occur.  Project monitoring can reduce your exposure to risk by quickly identifying any potential issues and finding solutions to mitigate or eliminate issues before they turn into a problem.

Jonathan did a report for me at the end of August 2024. I had a downstairs bathroom built but I was far from happy with the builders work. I invited Jonathan round to do a full report on the building as it stood at that time. I then applied to the small claims court to recoup £10k to correct the work I wasn't happy with and finish off my new bathroom. Today was the hearing at the small claims court. The hearing lasted almost two hours and at the end of the hearing the judge ruled in my favour. I was awarded £10k and the judge went on to say my win was all down to your report.
